HISTORY

  The business was founded in 1986 by Maciej Stec, who pioneered the compost production in central Poland.
  In 1995 compost operations began from a newly constructed manufacturing facility built to the owner's unique design enabling production of pasteurised Phase 2 compost blocks. This heralded the beginning of steady growth of Stec Company for the next years.
  At present our investment and expansion is focused on the Phase 3 facilities. In the end of 2004 we started production of Phase 3 compost first in bulk and in the following future in blocks. This investment placed our Company at the technical forefront of compost manufacturing in Poland with many innovative features leading to improved quality and yields of mushrooms.
